The recent defunding of ACORN due to videos made by investigative journalists who exposed ACORN employees advocating illegal actions has completely upstaged the medical reform discussion.

The age-old lesson that we can take from the ACORN situation is that “free” money corrupts.  (Remember the generous bonuses going to banking management while in the midst of a bailout?)

Our Medicare Lawsuit is extremely important right now.  Five co-plaintiffs don’t want “free” money.  They want to pay for their medical expenses with resources other than government entitlements.  They want to protect their medical privacy.  They want to opt-out.
